Bobbington Parish Council

MINUTES of the Annual General Meeting of Bobbington Parish Council held on Wednesday 25th May 2005 at 7.30 p.m. in the Schoolroom.

PRESENT:  Councillors:-  Mrs D.Kellett, D.Kimbley, N.Jones, T.Rees, Mrs J.Tudor, M.Vickers, Dis.Cllr. R.McArdle.  Mrs K.Hampton.

1.  APOLOGIES:  Councillor Snelson, Brian Edwards.

2.  DECLARATIONS OF INTEREST  there were no changes to Financial Interests or other Declarations of Interest.

3.  ELECTION OF CHAIRMAN  The Clerk asked for nominations for Chairman.  Councillor Rees was proposed by Cllr. Kimbley and seconded by Cllr. Mrs.Kellett.  There being no further nominations, Cllr. Rees was re-elected.

4.  ELECTION OF OFFICERS:

Vice Chairman – Cllr. Jones was proposed by Cllr.Mrs.Kellett, seconded by Cllr.Rees and with no further nominations was elected.

Cheque signatories – Agreed that Cllr.Kimbley and Cllr.Mrs Tudor continue but Cllr.Mrs Kellett to replace Cllr.Snelson who was not always able to be present.

Wolverhampton Business Airport Consultative Committee – Cllr.Mrs.Kellett was re-elected.

Village Hall Committee – Cllr.Mrs.Kellett agreed to continue.

Trustee of the Fanny Wright Gatacre Charity – Cllr. Snelson was re-elected in his absence provided he was willing to continue to stand.

Responsible Financial Officer – Clerk to continue.

Internal Auditor – Bill Hayhurst was nominated to continue with unanimous agreement.

Tree Warden – Cllr. Mrs. Kellett agreed to continue.

Health Authority Representative – Cllr. Rees agreed to continue.

Police Authority Representative – Cllr. Vickers agreed to continue.

Corbett School Representative – Mrs Karin Hampton agreed to continue to report school matters to the Parish Council.

5.  MINUTES of the last annual General Meeting were signed having been previously circulated and approved.

6.  ANY OTHER BUSINESS  Cllr.Mrs Kellett gave her Annual Village Hall Report which had been deferred from the last meeting.  A copy is filed in the Minute Book.

7.  DATE OF NEXT ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING already arranged for 17th May 2006.
